Modo’s offline rendering experimental project to (partially) recreate a specific Mark13 robot from the complete Hardware movie. I love this movie!
Couldn’t find very good reference material, many gaps at the end filled in as best as possible.
Note. This ZIP file contains only the geometry. LXO (available with reduced number of subds) and FBX (no more subds for foreign trade, so just low geopoly (sort of). You get that too ;>)

Another entertainment that impressed me as a child. I also wanted to explore the cartoon style and color palette a bit more. I could describe the original (let’s say “wonderful”) EGA lineup as obvious. I think the direction I’ve taken goes very well with the modern good version of SQ3. I mainly focused on environment art, tried Unreal 4 and learned how to build things just using blueprints.
I just wanted to cover mostly an area without interactivity and of course with relatively few deaths. (Hint: there are two.)
Also, in case you didn’t know, the original creators of SQ3 are making a real game – please support everyone here!
Tools used: Modo, Photoshop and Unreal 4. My phone (noise is heard). All but one frame (4k) will end up being 2k. Mostly masked materials, tiles 7 or 2 baked normal map accessories, no lods.

The Kulturfan project that started as Modo’s offline rendering project and ended up as a real-time Unreal project.
Rise of the Dragon is one of those games that really influenced me as a player. I always wanted to dosuch a name, and it’s probably the closest I’ve got. The project also encouraged me to play with blueprints and scripts, as well as cuts and clay. etc.
Probably ROTD3D was never the complete remaster that was commonly associated with the original, so the functionality was initially a little limited, albeit done in a slightly more innovative way.
I also wanted to create some kind of inventory system and videos, promotions, but the sprawl of features was usually too much for me.
How to fix “your computer won’t boot into safe mode” error?
To do this, restart your computer and press F10 or F2 to display the boot options. Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Options and press 4 to enter Safe Mode. After our process, your PC will restart in safe mode and you may need to remove the malicious files as well as the drivers causing this error.
Tools used: Modo, PS and Unreal 4. Textures above 2k were not used. No accessories were baked, except for the bed. No lods. Whole scene: ~380,000 tris.

Garry’s Mod is a fascinating exploration of guerrilla programming. This is a powerful a wildly successful mod for Half-Life 2 that essentially turns information technology into a giant sandbox written in Lua.
There are a large number of third-party Lua script mods available for the Garry mod. In a server RPG, you have a mod, you have an income and tools that allow you to sell items on the map, on the other hand, interact with other players. The new game modes have large stocks and therefore enhanced functionality, including item pooling and stock markets.
Another example is Wood Warfare, where teams build cars or houses out of wood and then attack the other team’s creations with weapons made from anything from engine oil cans to Fortune cannon props.
In addition, it becomes a tool for creating music videos, comics, and many other forms of machinima.
If Garry’s Mod bothers you as much as a bizarre environment in a physics-driven 3D world, it’s because it’s always been that way. But it all started from a much simpler point. In this recent meeting with Harry, he describes the modest hallmarks of his eponymous mod:
Harry Newman: [GMod] was a complete experience. Was I amazed by their original engine at this point. I had no idea how something worked, but I was able to bring the person back to Half-Life 2 to find out where I previously talked about this feature. For example, his rope pistol. I didn’t know how to make rope, so I locked myself in and realized that Goose’s tongue was rope. So I just copied this code pretty close to a regular weapon and it worked. Well, it worked. It was one of the good things about GMod. I saw how to do it right because Valve often did it elsewhere in the code. So your code will probably teach me. I’m not the kind of person who can learn from a bookUm, I really need practical examples.
Shack: What advice would you give to modding teams to help them avoid moving parts? Take a simple idea and develop it?
Harry Newman: I would recommend the iterative method to everyone. The main argument against this is that they don’t seem to want to come up with a shitty version of their idea and want to push everyone away. Fair enough, but it somehow gets worse when you work with tennis balls 2 times and then let go and your idea still sucks. The iteration would let you know that this idea is definitely not working, so you could develop it further. In each update, more people can be chosen to play personal mods. You are building a community.
